I am an MPhil student at the University of Melbourne, studying the vulnerability of freshwater crayfish to climate change. This research aims to develop novel analytical tool to predict the effects of climate change, habitat connectivity and management interventions on crayfish conservation status.
My supervisors are Professor Mark Burgman, Dr Lucie Bland, and Dr José J. Lahoz-Monfort from the School of BioSciences, University of Melbourne.
My background is in Zoology. Before starting my MPhil, I completed a Bachelor of Science Honours and Master of Science in Zoology (specialization: Wildlife Biology) from the University of Dhaka. My research interest focuses on population and ecosystem modeling, risk analysis, conservation, elasmobranchs and climate change.
